Children’s Ministry Vision
Welcome to the Children’s Ministry at Chapel Church. Our ministry with children requires the very best we can offer. It is through our ministry with children that seeds are planted and lives are changed. In Jesus’ words, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” It is our desire that our children’s ministry would break down any barrier that separates a child from experiencing the love of Jesus, and equip them to overcome the Goliath’s of their day.
Safe Sanctuary
Since the fall of 2003, all Shepherds, Assistants, Nursery Care Givers and paid Child Care Providers in our Children’s Ministry must meet the requirements of our church’s “Safe Sanctuaries Policy” which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks, child abuse history clearances and annual training events. Please be assured that we have taken every precaution to ensure that your child will be safe and properly cared for while in our Children’s Ministry programs and events.
Sunday School
Children ages infancy through the sixth grade are welcome to participate, 9:15 am -10:15 am. We strive for a small group approach in our Sunday School program. Shepherds provide biblically-sound activities and lessons that are learner-based, active and planned to make a lasting impression on our students. Wealso include various mission projects both inside and outside our classrooms throughout the year.

Preschool Praisers
Is a special time for just 4 and 5 year olds, not in Kindergarten to experience God through kid-friendly worship activities. We meet from September thru May on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
Starting - September 25, 2011
Schedule ~ Please send your Preschool Praiser to the back of the Sanctuary following our Praise Time during 10:30 AM Worship.
Tweens – Monthly
Tween Time is a special time of fellowship and discipleship for 5th & 6th Graders. They meet one Friday per month, to discuss different topics from – trust, courage and many other topics. We also meet for special outings such as bowling, mission events, and more fun activities!
New Tween Time Leader...we warmly welcome Amy Albright into this new role! Thank you Amy for accepting God's call into your life in this new adventure and journey to further Make Disciples of All People!
Gary Boyd will continue to assist the tween group - as he enjoys his interactions with the tweens. The tweens are always excited to know that Gary is attending...especially the boys!
Many blessings and prayers to our tweens that have moved from tweens to youth...we pray for each one of you as you change-over into youth and that your hearts continued to be filled with the love of Jesus and that you share your joys and enthusiasm for Jesus with others!

Kids Bake & Cook-Off

Ages 5-18
Kids Easter Musical
Saturday, March 31st - Fellowship hall - 6:30 - 7:30 PM
This musical will be done by several Chapel kids joined by Chapel’s Joyful Noise! Come join the fun and see how the kids perform a powerful presentation to enrich the children’s lives! It includes familiar hymns and songs and you will be singing them for days following the musical!

Pirate Day for Boys!
