Sunday School

Chapel Church has a strong history of Sunday School classes and teachers. We seek to continue to offer opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth with Fall as we'll have 8 Sunday School classes available. Please take a look below and if you have any interest in joining a class or simply have any questions at all about any of this material, please contact Jordan Reilly at 717-244-6375 or jordan@chapelchurch.org.

Couples for Christ

Couples for Christ

This class was started to attract couples and talk about topics related to marriage. We invite all to our class, and we talk about a wide range of topics, not just marriage.
Currently, we are studying short stories from the book entitled, "Staying Up, Up, Up in a Down, Down World" by Zig Ziglar. Each short story has a quote from a famous person and a corresponding bible verse. Someone in the class reads the story out loud and then we discuss the story and how it relates to our walk with God.

God and Bible

God and Bible

This class is open to anyone, any age, and any level of scriptural knowledge.
We will begin the fall sessions with a refresher of the Bible itself - how it is set up and general knowledge of where to look for topics. Plus the 'in-between books' and those 400 'silent years.
All are welcome to join in our study of God’s Word as we dive in and learn from the bare bones of the Bible.

 Crusaders for Christ i

Crusaders for Christ

Crusaders for Christ is a Sunday School class consisting of couples and singles of many different ages. Our studies cover a wide range of subjects, using the Bible, different study books and aids, videos, etc.
We are currently involved in a study of the book of Matthew. Our emphasis is always on in depth study made relevant to each member, and a lot of honest sharing and discussion. Our facilitators use team teaching and team discussion. They are Will Henry and Carol Blessing. If you are interested in a relaxed, friendly learning experience, come join us.

Families for Christ

Families for Christ

We are a gathering of different ages, and lifestyles but a common thread of desiring to grow in the knowledge and intimacy of Jesus Christ. Our teaching methods vary, but usually involve a video with study guide. The study may involve at-home devotions which enhance the learning experience, but it is not necessary to have completed them to attend the class, we are a come-as-you-are group! We are open to a variety of study topics, with relevance to our daily lives as being the basic outcome.

Most recently, we finished a study on “Grace” with Max Lucado and before that, a study of Feasts of the Old Testament. Currently, we are in the war zone with our study, “Victory in Spiritual Warfare” by Dr. Tony Evans. It is a fascinating topic designed to tackle challenges and obstacles with spiritual power.

Chapel Young Adults

Young Adults

Chapel Young Adults exists to reach young people right out of high school, college age and early adulthood. There is a clear separation between people of this age and the church in our culture. Our goal is the bridge that gap by connecting this age group with the local church where they can be used and grow, build and sustain relationships, and know and understand who God is.

Parenting-Beyond-Your-Capacity-cover

 Parenting Beyond Your Potential

Engage your family in a bigger story, a story that involves more than just your family - one that involves other influences who are on a journey to discover why a relationship with God really matters. We want to encourage you to establish a lifestyle as a parent in which you...

- Invite others to invest in your children so your sons and daughters have other voices that will help shape and determine the direction of their lives.
- Create a culture of unconditional love to fuel the emotional and moral health of your children.
- Tap into the power of quality moments together, building a sense of purpose through everyday experiences.

This isn't a self-help book. It's a get-help book. It's about how you can increase your parenting capacity by connecting with available resources, some of which you know about and some you might not.

Chapter topics to come are Engaging with Wisdom and Grace, Planning and Providing, Having a Vision for your marriage and family, Having a vision for your world.
“The essence of manhood is more than a location; it is an attitude. So take heart and step in to this study knowing that the most important part is to come away with an action plan that fits the person God has made you to be.”

Women Together

 Women Together

Whether you are woman who is single, married, divorced, young or just young at heart, you are welcome in Women Together. We seek to provide a welcoming and safe environment for all women; a place to belong and find opportunity to grow spiritually.

Bad Girls of the Bible takes a look at the vamps and tramps of the Bible, searching for the lessons these wicked women have to teach. Liz Curtis Higgs retells these biblical stories with rollicking humor and deep insight as she teaches about the nature of sin and goodness.
